shit hot semi-drunk gig(featuring the lovely devlin love from alabama 3) on the strummerville stage at Glastonbury!

shit hot gig(featuring shameless crowd surfing, trumpets, bongos and bloody nosed groupies) at the canteen!

and shit hot gig(featuring the fattest sound from Smashing Pumkins sound man phil) at Cargo!

not sure how we do it but long may it continue, thanks to everyone involved in all of these! its what keeps us going!

and may i say a big farewell to Titi, good luck in spain my man. and welcome dudu and bacary! im genuinely exited, see you on saturday!

too many consultants.

I've been getting a lot of people asking me are the rumors true, is ...............................GEAR going to break up? YES!, it's true, the band will break up, eventually. Unless they can find a drug that will keep us alive forever, like the one Keith Richards takes (I believe you have to snort dead people's ashes). Are we breaking up anytime soon? No. Sorry to disappoint you. That means, for all those people who've asked for our autographs, they won't be worth anything for a long time yet, so keep your day job.

A little bird I was talking to t'other day told me of a small but exiting (in a tingling way) happening.

One innocent night in Camden this little bird was dancing away to the hippest of hip tunes provided by the robots in disguise divas. All of a sudden bass! Hi hats! and skiffle! The bird was suddenly amazed to be boogieing down to none other than ring of fire! Buy our very selves!

The bird rushed to the booth to confront Dee the disk spinner 'this is gear!' the bird said 'I know, It’s fucking banging!' said Dee.

Where Dee got the tune of all tunes is a mystery, but along with her mighty bush boyfriend they are bout the coolest of fans we could possibly have dreamed of.

It seems despite all our efforts to the contrary we may well be cool after all!

things are picking up in the gear camp we had a successful 4 date tour with trail of dead which was throught with controversy but in the end we did more than enough to impress everyone concerned and narrowly missed out on completing the whole european tour with them. bugger.

thanks to the trail boys jason, conrad, kevin and especially donny for being so friendly and letting me use his kit.

and also a big thankyou to leroy for his dancing and doug who is a legend.

and also to you guys who came along specially our new friends from birmingham ashi and co. who were wicked.

Not sure what to write today in my first blog: have decided to start with listing my achievements of today;

Woke up at 6 o'clock in the morning and felt ok about it!

Ride the tube without twating some suit in the face.

After arriving to work managed to avoid doing anything for half an hour, nice

Switched two households to cheaper gas and electricity (I hope).

Ate a superbly made lamb and mint sandwich (could be counted on last nights achievements)

Spoke to a girl who was smuggling tic tac's without pointing it out to her and the rest of the office

Signed bout a dozen people up to a magazine subscription that 95% of them don't even want

Made a charitable donation to a worthy cause

Filled up my Friday night diary by accepting offer of drinks after work

Left on time

Successfully ran and caught a bus across the road from angel station-so embarrassing when you miss them

Sent band mates potentially annoying email

Procrastinated bout writing a blog

Wrote a blog!

I thank you
