Brink saw Gear play and fell in love apparently....

"I have secretly stalked you ever since! I made a music video for you, not a real one but you said you liked it."

We did! So why do you want to be in Gear?

"I think I should play bass in your band because you need some female members to pull in the male audience..."

Eh?

"Let's be fair, mini-skirts and fishnet stockings go a long way! Me and my stilettos will do anything to help..."

Right, with you.... And you play bass?

"I have a little music experience so I think that gives me an edge...."

I think that may be a sly dig at you, Pete.... fiesty!

"....Ultimately I can do cool media related things for you in a professional manner - how much do I rule?!"

Muchly! However there is no professional manner in Gear. You have much to learn little one.....

Me versus the Van!

Date: 28/08/2007
The boys are all playing a shoot 'em up on their old skool playstation2. hahahaha.
Its been a tough few days driving around in the faithful bus, so it is nice to be chilling right now. The boys have been signing all those autographs, but yet wont give me any!!! I think thats rude, they dont believe me that my real first name is eBay. but it is, I just can't find my birth certificate. or driving license. which is why I'm not im not allowed to drive the van.

It is typical Im bored cause they dont have enough controllers to let me play. Well when I get out the playstation 3 I wont lets them on and see how they like it (evil laugh).

I'm a bit worried about the steam coming out of the van at the moment, I think we should do a charity concert to raise money for the most valuble member of the band, the glue, the duct tape, the ray of sun and shelter on rainy days... me. NO THE VAN OF COURSE! we love it soo much it has its own blog. It's higher in the ranks than me! can you believe it. well yeah. I doesnt complain as much, and it can live without hair straighteners.

well i dont know what else to say! Its a good old time with the boys, would be easyer if they where less sexy but what can a girl do! More people join us its fun!

love!

My first blog! Yay! It’s been a few days now since I joined Gear on this adventure we call rock and roll! It’s been a crazy few days too…

The first night in the band we all went out for fruit pastels: that was a rough ass night and I knew I was going to have to keep up with the big boys now. The second night we stayed up past 9.30pm! So as you can tell I have already had an insight into the hard core world of Gear. Gigging doesn’t seem to be too bad, people carry our stuff about and I won’t mention anything about groupies? Or the lack of them. Just kidding. I think.

I have watched them play a few gigs, so I can get a feel of the band as a new member. Pete promises me I can touch an instrument any day now! No really, the Gear boys are brill! It's strange how people that don’t like rock music like Gear. I promise you, drum and Bass junkies love them! That has to be a compliment as usually D’n’B folk throw beer cans at any band with actual instruments.

At the moment I am trying to get the boys to Stroud, Gloucestershire for a gig (after the flooding has gone) so I can show my old school friends how cool I am now? Make them feel bad for the years of torment just because I had a full head brace and my favourite subject was trigonometry. I’m surprised I can spell that actually.

So now I’m off to secretly re-tune all their guitars before they go on stage, ‘cause I’m a scamp like that!

Hope all is well in Gear lovin’ land! Not that anyone reads these anyway, but if you do thank you!
